Jordan Herzog is an associate in the Intellectual Property Practice Group. Mr. Herzog has significant experience in a variety of patent, trademark, copyright and other intellectual property law matters, including U.S. and international patent and trademark procurement, patent reexamination proceedings, technology analysis and licensing, and patent, trademark, trade dress and copyright litigation. He is a registered patent attorney with significant experience, in particular, in the electrical and software arts.

In addition to his legal training and experience, Jordan is a Microsoft certified software developer, with over 15 years of industry experience in electronics design and software development. As a research engineer with Lockheed Space Systems, Jordan developed analog and digital electronics circuitry for orbital satellites. During his tenure at Lockheed, he also developed high-speed electronics and embedded software for digital signal processing applications. As a senior developer and consultant to Bell and Howell, Jordan designed and developed high-speed digital imaging electronics and software for postal automation systems.

Mr. Herzog is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (B.S., Computer Science, 1983) and DePaul University College of Law (J.D., with honors, Order of the Coif, 1993). He was admitted to the Illinois State Bar in 1993, as well as the Bar of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
