Allan L. Yusim is a partner in the Real Estate and Tax Practice Groups and focuses his practice primarily in the commercial real estate area, and particularly in the areas involving the acquisition and disposition of real estate assets, real estate financing, commercial leasing and related matters. Mr. Yusim represents both public and privately-held REITs in all matters pertaining to their respective businesses and consults with clients on a regular basis in respect of the tax-advantaged structuring of real estate transactions and the related entities. In addition to the foregoing, Mr. Yusim also engages in the representation of commercial lending institutions and commercial borrowers on a regular basis.

Mr. Yusim also devotes a significant portion of his practice to all aspects of estate planning for individual clients in connection with lifetime gift and death tax planning and wealth management.

Mr. Yusim was born in Chicago, Illinois. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (B.S., 1967, and J.D., 1970) and was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1970. Mr. Yusim is a member of the Illinois State and Chicago Bar Associations.
