David O’Donaghue is an associate in the firm’s Business Practice Group.
Prior to joining PFS, David spent several years at an international law firm in Chicago. In that role, David advised clients on M&A transactions in a variety of industries (including manufacturing, healthcare, consumer goods, industrials, food and beverage and software) for public and private clients on both the buy- and sell-side. He also has experience in counseling clients on an assorted collection of general corporate matters.
David is a graduate of Boston College (B.A., Political Science Honors Program) and the Loyola University Chicago School of Law (J.D., summa cum laude). David is honored to have been recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in both 2025 and 2026 in the area of Mergers and Acquisitions Law.
Outside of work, David enjoys spending time with his wife and dog, traveling, trying new restaurants, cooking, and all things Chicago sports.
