Josh Dela Pena is an associate in the firm’s Employment Practice Group.
After graduating law school and prior to joining PFS, Josh defended high-profile employers in Illinois workers’ compensation matters. During law school, Josh was an intern with the Wage and Hour Division and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration under the U.S. Department of Labor. Josh also clerked for the Federal Civil Rights Litigation division of the City of Chicago and a Chicago law firm specializing in the representation of ERISA claimants. Josh served as the Managing Editor of the University of Illinois Elder Law Journal and as a Student Attorney for Illinois Law’s Medical-Legal Partnership Clinic.
In both his educational and professional experiences, Josh assumed significant responsibility in project and case management. Josh has represented clients at the administrative, state, and federal levels and continues to foster a deep understanding of the Illinois employment law landscape.
Josh is a graduate of the University of Florida and the University of Illinois College of Law, where he graduated cum laude.
Outside of work, Josh enjoys exploring Chicago’s best restaurants, attending live music events, and thrifting vintage clothing and furniture.
