Paula Melendro is an associate in the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group.
Prior to joining PFS, Paula practiced at an international law firm in Colombia, where she advised domestic and international clients on commercial contracts, infrastructure projects and real estate transactions across multiple industries and regions. Her experience includes supporting acquisitions and development projects and drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, including complex cross-border and multi-jurisdictional matters. Paula also gained exposure to large-scale projects, providing her with a strong foundation in managing sophisticated transactions and delivering practical, business-oriented solutions.
After being admitted to practice in Illinois, Paula expanded her experience at a local Chicago law firm, where she worked on commercial and residential real estate transactions, landlord-tenant matters and estate planning.
Paula earned her LL.M from the University of Chicago Law School and is fluent in English and Spanish.
Outside of work, Paula enjoys running, exploring new places and spending time with her family.
