Wendy Onofre is an associate in the firm’s Business, Finance, and Real Estate Practice Groups. She enjoys working across the various practice groups and having the opportunity to work on a broad range of legal issues.
During law school she became passionate about business law through her work in-house for companies such as Millercoors, LLC, the United States Soccer Federation (“U.S. Soccer”), and Harris Associates L.P. Working in-house helped Wendy understand that clients facing tough business decisions need practical advice from their lawyers, she found PFS to be the perfect firm to hone these skills.
Wendy is actively involved with the Alumni Association of High Jump Chicago, a two-year enrichment program that serves students from limited means and prepares them for high school and college success. She is also involved in various other charitable activities focused on education and youth outreach. When she is not in the office, Wendy is watching Netflix, enjoying a good workout, or planning her next trip. Her favorite countries to travel to are Mexico and Morocco. She hopes to make her way to Kenya soon and hopefully see a giraffe or two.
Wendy was born and raised on the south side of Chicago, Illinois. She is a graduate of the University of Dayton (B.A., 2013) and the Chicago-Kent College of Law (J.D., 2018). Wendy was admitted to the Illinois State Bar in 2018. She is a native Spanish speaker and is proficient in French.
