Elizabeth L. Archerd is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group.  Since joining the firm in 2018, Liz has dedicated her practice to all aspects of commercial litigation.  Her practice encompasses a broad range of complex legal matters, including commercial disputes involving breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty; and other; disputes among shareholders, members, and partners; claims alleging legal and accounting malpractice; real estate litigation, including mechanics lien foreclosure, commercial lease disputes, and construction disputes; restrictive covenant enforcement and defense; employment disputes; and litigation involving trusts and probate estates.

After graduating from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, Liz pursued her legal education at Emory University School of Law in Atlanta, where she honed her skills in litigation and advocacy.  Through her attention to detail and pragmatic approach to practicing law, Liz always strives to be a strong advocate for her clients, both in and out of the courtroom.

Beyond her professional achievements, Liz resides in the vibrant neighborhood of Lincoln Square with her husband, David.  While in Chicago, Liz stays connected to both St. Olaf and Emory alumni groups in Chicago. She is passionate about exploring new cultures and cuisines, often spending her free time traveling to new places or exploring the many incredible restaurants that Chicago has to offer.
