Vito Pacione is a partner in the firm’s Real Estate practice group. Vito has represented clients representing a number of industries, including defense, retail, restaurant, hospitality, telecommunications and heavy industry. In recent years, Vito has gained substantial experience in advising both private developers and physician and dental groups in the acquisition, disposition, leasing and financing of medical office properties located throughout the country. Further, Vito has worked closely with his corporate colleagues over the years in handling the real estate aspects of merger and acquisition transactions (whether asset or stock transactions) and other corporate-related reorganizations.
Vito is a proud real estate “generalist”, having been groomed early in his career to efficiently and thoughtfully advise clients on a wide variety of real estate matters and needs, rather than to be pigeonholed into one specific area of real estate law or in one specific industry. In this fast-paced, demanding and cost-conscious business environment, Vito recognizes client desires to have their real estate legal needs met in a one-stop shop — and Vito’s training and expertise assure that those client needs will be met and exceeded.
Vito joined PFS in early spring of 2017, after over 13 years practicing transactional real estate at two large Chicago-based law firms. On a day-to-day basis, Vito counsels clients on a variety of real estate matters — acquisition, disposition and development of multi-million dollar commercial, retail, industrial, multi-family and hospitality projects (including both conventional fee title transfer and membership interest transfers), negotiation of reciprocal easement agreements, property declarations and easement agreements, preparation of property management agreements and the negotiation of office, retail and industrial leases of all sizes — to name a few. He even has experience in handling airport hangar leases. Further, Vito is a seasoned borrower’s attorney, representing owners, developers and companies in the negotiation of conventional and construction real estate financing of numerous types, along with forbearance or other workout structures.
Vito has a reputation for handling client matters at lightning-fast speed, without sacrificing quality of work or outcomes. He enjoys learning about the specific business and real estate needs of his clients and helping them navigate through their real estate issues. Vito values long-term relationships with individuals and companies, with a commitment to dedicated and first-class legal representation and service.
